Just wanted to see if anyone has been impacted by the economy and if so, what industry are you targeting?

OMG yes. I am working with a client in the auto refinance industry. Things are harder now than they have ever been before. I have friends in the advertising space having issues as well. Salaries are being cut across the board.

Yeah I'm just glad I'm not the only one.  Rae Hoffman also twitted about how she's been affected:

Traffic up 6.5% over last month and revenue down 13% over last month... THANK YOU U.S. ECONOMY

I wonder how long these lower conversions will last for.

Yup- from the agency side, I can say we've seen quite a few clients across various industries dropping in leads & sales. Traffic is somewhat similar though, so I guess users are still researching but just being a little tighter with the purse strings! Something we've been wondering about is why paid ad impressions aren't trending the same as natural search visitors though- seems that (especially for ecom) PPC impr are down...
